Microsoft’s Windows 8 logo: Metro but not in a good way

| March 1, 2012 | 0 Comments

Microsoft has a renovated logo for Windows 8 and I’m already missing the old ones. Maybe a earth full of tiles can get laborious.

The software giant has gone Metro merry. The new logo, unveiled in a Microsoft blog carry to the ledger, is designed to capture “brave flat colors and clean lines and shapes.” That’s mumbo jumbo concerning “hey we paid a design firm a bundle to cook up this logo that you may not like.”

OK, I dispose that the logo should match the Windows 8 Metro format. Microsoft is tile blissful. I also get that the former Windows logos looked more like flags than Windows. Unfortunately on this account that me the Windows 8 logo gives me a window, on the other hand I want to jump out of it.

It. Is. Just. Too. Much. Metro. Design. For. Me. To. Handle.

The puzzle here is that I can’t determine of Microsoft’s Metro topic without putting a “sexual” at the back it. Metrosexuals are supposed to in truth care about their looks and sanitary science. The Windows 8 logo looks unnatural and the equivalent of a model shirt you might find your kind neighborhood metrosexual wearing.
